Ecila's luxury products are handcrafted and shipped freshly.  Our commitment to our customers' receiving fresh chocolates means that we ship out the chocolates as soon as we receive the purchase orders.  

All fine chocolates will melt if exposed to temperatures over 26C (80F).  Therefore in the summer months, or to an always warm climate, ice packs are added to the shipment to keep the chocolates at the constant and desirable temperatures.  We also reserve the rights to hold the orders back for additional 1 to 2 business days to avoid delivery during temperature peaks.  In addition, we always avoid shipping orders on Friday, Saturday or Sunday so that the packages will not be left sitting in a warehouse over the weekend.  Our 1 or  2-day-ship-methods will give the order the best chance, but no guarantee, of arriving intact.

Although we do everything possible on our end to help the products get to our customers in good condition, there are much conditions beyond our control.  We cannot guarantee that the chocolates will not melt or get damaged in transit.  If the worst happens and chocolate products arrive melted, please place them in a cool dry place to let the chocolate firm up.  If you cannot eat all your chocolates at once, you should store the "leftovers" in the refrigerator.  

We are not liable for delivery delays that are outside of our control, such as extreme weather or general delays on the carriers' end.

It is the customer's responsibility to provide accurate shipping information so that we can send products to the right address.  Each incorrect address will incur a reship surcharge. Regretfully, we do not ship to P.O. Boxes.  Shipping charges will not be refunded for late deliveries if the business is closed or not available to receive the package when delivered.

All sales are final.  No refund or exchange after items have been shipped.
